Meet and Greet with Dean

Last Wednesday, October 27 the student council officers had a meet and greet with Dean. That night, we presented our proposed projects to him, Dr. Mansibang and ms. Angie (assistant to the Dean). The meeting was a success because Dean approved all projects and together with the school admin who gave their unwavering support.

GIVE that Others may LIVE Blood Drive

True to its theme, the team-up of the Ateneo Graduate School of Business (AGSB) Student Council, AGSB MBA Health Batch 8 and the Department of Health (DOH) – Philippine Blood Center demonstrated this commitment when it held its Blood Drive last October 2, 2010 at the AGSB Atrium.

Dean Albert Buenviaje expressed his delight in the outcome of the activity. In his SMS to the Student Council President Mark Lee, the Dean congratulated and thanked the team for this successful project.

A total of seventy-five bags of blood were extracted during the activity. Of these, 19 were Type A, 21 were Type B, 8 were Type AB and 27 were Type O.

The DOH-Philippine Blood Center through their Donor Recruiter Officer Mr. Lancellot B. Villareal, RN, expressed his gratitude for AGSB’s support to the cause of Voluntary Blood Donation.

“The Blood units collected will surely help augment the blood need of our country. Several patients will benefit from the selfless deeds of Blood Donors from your institution. We truly appreciate these volunteer blood donors; many are first timers, who endure a little pain and discomfort to help patients whose faces they might not even see and be able to say their gratitude. In behalf of these patients, we say: Thank you very much!”
